a brief history of whisky in Scotland, stories about various distilleries, a review of the rules that govern what is called single malt and Scottish whisky, tales of travel to where Scottish whisky is produced, and of course tasting notes, regional flavors, peat characteristics, salt water and sea air affects, oak barrel interaction, and what these attributes mean on the label.
