Blue Moon Dance and Music Jams with Cold Stone Harvest
Enjoy a short performance to original music by Americana-band Cold Tone Harvest in Set One, then have a chance to experience a fun, informal dance workshop with the performers.
Christina Sears, the 2016 Touchstone Dance Educator of the Year, leads movement activities for all ages and skill levels. Company members Aisha Darnell, Amanda Stanger-Read, Cathy Taister and Rebecca Zahm form performance core.
We will be developing partnering skills through many approaches, including: directing through touch, weight-sharing, counter-balance and safe lifts.
This is a rare opportunity to groove along with a popular band.
Set Two will feature the musicians and open dancing. Band Members include: Ozzie Andrews,Tony Pace, Andrew Sigworth, Brian Williams.
