JFS Presents: The 2016 Claire and Isadore Bernstein Award Event Honoring Zingerman's Community of Businesses
Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County is excited to announce that Zingerman’s Community of Businesses will be the 2016 recipients of the Claire and Isadore Bernstein Award, given each year to exceptional local leaders. JFS believes that the Zingerman’s community is especially deserving of this honor, due to its decades of commitment and effort to improve the local community.
JFS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has served the entire population of Washtenaw County since 1993. Our programs include a specialty food pantry, refugee resettlement, international services (including citizenship and English as a Second Language classes), crisis intervention and assistance, older adult services, counseling, and employment services. JFS provides these services, regardless of ability to pay, to the most vulnerable members of the community.
JFS will present the Bernstein Award to Zingerman’s on April 17th at Rackham Hall in Ann Arbor.
