Life After High School Sports: What?s the Next Step?
The "Life After High School Sports: What's the Next Step?" event is an opportunity for parents of college-bound students who are in athletic programs to learn how to make the transition from playing high school sports to meeting the demands of college.
University of Michigan’s Greg Harden, Associate Athletic Director at the Performance Psychology Center, will serve as the event’s keynote speaker. Harden will speak on the following topics: how to prepare for the academic demands of college, how students can enhance their education through sports, and how the choices students make impact their futures.
There will be discussion and information available regarding WCC’s admission process and programs, as well as extracurricular activities, dual enrollment and financial aid by WCC staff.
The “Life After High School Sports: What’s the Next Step?” event is sponsored by the Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion, which is under the leadership of Dean Arnett Chisholm.
